9/11 Memorial Guardian Ride

IN HONOR OF THOSE GUARDIANS WHO LOST THEIR LIVES ON SEPTEMBER 11th, 2001

On July 17th, Navy Veterans Matt Hansen & Keith Eckert will depart the 9/11 Memorial in Lower Manhattan and journey 1,300 miles on bike to honor those guardians who lost their lives in the September 11th attacks. Along their journey they will pass the Flight 93 National Memorial in Stoystown, PA, the National 9/11 Pentagon Memorial in Washington D.C., and the Garden of Reflection 9/11 Memorial in Yardley, PA.

On September 11th, 2001, 343 firefighters of the FDNY, 37 police officers of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey Police Department (PAPD), 23 police officers of the New York City Police Department (NYPD), 8 emergency medical technicians and paramedics , and 1 patrolman from the New York Fire Patrol paid the ultimate sacrifice while doing what they love: protecting and aiding those who are unable to do so themselves.

Our goal is to raise $20,000 for this event. 100% of proceeds will go toward providing training and equipment for first responders as well as sustainment of our first responder and military veteran mental health programs.
