Aloha veterans & first responders on Oahu

We’re here for you.

Guardian Revival Hawaii?

What is

Guardian Revival is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization chartered to revive and preserve the mental health and well-being of veterans and first responders — our guardians — at no cost to you.

Founded & based in the Hudson Valley, New York, we offer online and in-person programs.

We organize free on-island events in Hawaii — primarily on Windward Oahu.

  • Outdoor Adventures

Explore the beautiful environment we live in, alongside your peers.

From easy walks to adventurous hikes, take advantage of an opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors & camaraderie.

Some outings will be open to family & non-guardian friends.

  • Music

Our Encore program offers opportunities for guardians to learn, write, play, record, and share music

Take beginner to advanced guitar, ukulele, bass, and piano lessons online via zoom.

Join our monthly in-person jam session in Kailua. Thank you to local ukulele group The Kanikapila Project for partnering with us!

  • Family & Community Events

Once a month, meet up in-person for a BBQ, volleyball game, beach day, or other casual get-together with other guardians and our family & friends.

We also organize coffee meet-ups for come & go chats to socialize in local cafes, like Tradition Coffee Roasters.

  • Wellness

    Mālama is important!

Improve your physical & mental health with one of our yoga, mobility, meditation, and mindfulness sessions.

We regularly offer online iRest (yoga nidra) meditations and mobility workshops, plus a local monthly wellness experience here in Hawaii.

  • Gatherings

An open forum and offer an opportunity to listen, learn, or share what's on your mind.

Group sessions with a network of fellow veterans & first responders, facilitated by a Peer Leader from Guardian Revival.

    In-person & via Zoom

  • Direct Peer Support

Emotional, social, and practical support — from one guardian to another.

Speak confidentially 1:1 with a trained Peer Leader who shares similar experiences & background as you.

    No diagnosis or commitment required.

  • 24/7 Talk Line

24/7 phone line operated by guardians, for guardians.

Not a crisis line — just a confidential, open opportunity to reach out for connection & support, anytime.
