Guardian Homefront
Support & resources for military, veteran, and first responder families
YOU ARE NEVER ALONE
Guardian Homefront focuses on the family and provides experiences, education, and support for the spouses, partners, and children of military and first responders.
We are here to foster resilience, support health & wellness, and promote community to ensure that no family member feels alone in their journey.
You are there for them
we are here for you
Guardian Revival is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that improves the mental health & well-being of military, veterans, and first responders — our guardians — and their families, at no cost to you.
Guardian Homefront is focused on the family: the spouses, partners, and children of military, veterans, and first responders.
The Homefront has the unique experience of living in both the civilian world and being part of the military and/or first responder community.
While there are benefits & special aspects of these lifestyles, they also include their own set of specific circumstances & challenges.
WHO ARE OUR GUARDIANS & HOW DO THEY SHAPE FAMILY LIFE?
Active Military ᐧ Veterans ᐧ Reserves ᐧ National Guard ᐧ Law Enforcement ᐧ Fire & Rescue ᐧ Emergency Medical Services ᐧ Dispatchers ᐧ Corrections ᐧ Federal Agents
LAW ENFORCEMENT
Your family’s routine is impacted by your guardian’s shift schedule, and they may come home from a day of paperwork or stressful situations.
FIRE, RESCUE, AND EMS
Your guardian is the first one on the scene for someone else’s emergency — and they come home to family life in between.
ACTIVE MILITARY
You and your guardian may be separated due to deployments for extended periods of time, and then jump back into daily life together.
veterans & Retired
Your guardian may no longer be on active duty, but their service has strongly influenced everyone’s identity and routines.

Our events
For everything we organize, we cover the logistics & the costs. All you need to do is block out your calendar & show up (a challenging but worthwhile task in your busy life!)
Each event is for a specific group — because sometimes it’s great to bring the whole family, but we also know how valuable it is to make time for couples to connect and for individuals to nurture their own needs.
family
Designed for adults and kids of all ages, our family events offer free, fun-filled activities for everyone to enjoy. Bring your guardian if they’re available!
From mini golf, baseball games, movie nights, and picnics to visiting a farm and going hiking or camping, come ready to spend quality time making memories together.
couples
These events are specifically for spouses / partners and their guardians. Time together is important, and we want to help you reconnect, relax, and reinvest in each other & your relationship.
Join us for a date night or a whole weekend. We organize all the details & cover the costs — all you need to do is show up.
Partners & spouses
We know a lot rests on your shoulders. These events are for spouses / partners ONLY (no guardians, no kids). Unless gender is noted for an event, we welcome ALL partners & spouses.
From opportunities to disconnect from daily life to providing special support & resources, we’re here to help you get what you need for yourself.

Guardian Homefront’s Dandelion
The dandelion has been used as a symbol for military children & families because of its resilient nature. Dandelions flourish despite constant changes and challenges, and their yellow color is often associated with optimism & hope.
We are here to foster your & your family’s resilience, well-being, and growth.
Why we are here
“We often carry the weight at home, feeling on duty ourselves, without much reprieve. But too often, our role as a peacemaker’s wife, allows us to forget the importance of pouring back into ourselves, even when we need it most. Whether you take 5 minutes a day or five hours a week, you deserve to keep yourself a top priority.”
- Rebecca Lynn, guardian spouse, author, and organizer of the Police Wife Conference
“Although my husband is retired, I still belong to some LEO wife FB pages. I like to offer advice that worked for us through the years, esp thru 911. I wish I had the social support as well back then.”
“I am pleased that you are making efforts to reduce the stigma and including "family" in the process. I am a firm believer that a supportive family is a critical component to the guardian's journey to better mental health. “
“[I wish I had…] Group get-togethers with other spouses/significant others. Social support as in FB groups. At any given time, you would know you had support, and even if you don’t feel like you need support yourself, it’s a great feeling knowing you’re not alone and you can help another family member at any given time. Group setting with other couples.“
“[I liked] having an afternoon on the slopes with my son and spending time with other veterans.”

Everything we offer is provided free of charge to guardian families, so your contribution truly makes a difference!
CREATING COMMUNITY
We aim to help establish connections across the extended community of military & first responder families. As family members of guardians of any kind, you have many shared experiences and the ability to understand each other’s particular lifestyles.
There are benefits from connecting with peers with whom you overlap significantly in similarities — and also with peers you only loosely resemble. Regardless of your degree of similarity, spending time with peers can offer connectedness, belonging, and community.
