ST REGIS CANOE ADVENTURE
Join us on a 3-day paddling adventure in the St. Regis Canoe Area in the Adirondacks.
The St. Regis Canoe area is the largest canoe area in the Northeastern US and home to 50 ponds and lakes. For 3 days and 2 nights, we will explore a section of the Seven Carries, a historic route that--ironically--only includes six portages.
This is a relaxed, slow-paced adventure in which you will have the opportunity to learn about canoe-camping, campfire cooking, and navigation as you and your fellow guardians carve your way through this beautiful, remote wilderness. You will get to explore and admire the awe inspiring beauty of the Adirondacks over the course of the 3 days, with a route and schedule that you will get to help design.
This outing requires each participant to have a full set of camping gear. We encourage using personal gear when possible, but we are able to loan both full kits and partial kits completely free of charge to participants who need it. A full kit includes items such as a shelter/sleep system, backpack, mess kit, cooking kit if applicable, and other necessary items depending on the activity, but does not include meals or clothing.
