Hundred-Mile Wilderness

This event has passed, but you can see similar adventures here!

Join Another Summit and your fellow veterans & first responders in an epic adventure through the wilds of Maine.

The Hundred-Mile Wilderness is a roughly 750,000 acre stretch of land encompassing the last 100 miles of the Appalachian Scenic Trail, from Monson, Maine all the way up Mount Katahdin.

For ten days — with eight of those on the trail, you will have the opportunity to fully immerse yourself in some of the most untamed wilderness in America and create everlasting memories and bonds with your fellow guardians.

By the time you’re on the trail in the last weeks of September, the vast expanse of forest will be swathed in shades of yellow, orange, and red as the trees begin to change. The rocky and mountainous path will turn into twisting tunnels of gold and — perhaps best of all — the black flies and mosquitoes should be much less prevalent.

You’ll sit around the campfire, sharing meals and stories, and have plentiful opportunities for conversation with your fellow hikers throughout the day. Along the way, you’ll pass scenic lakes and streams, and climb peaks with awe inspiring views, all leading up to the final climb — Mount Katahdin.

This is a physically and mentally challenging outing in a remote area.

We want to ensure all participants are up to the challenge and will enjoy this outing to its fullest, so if you’re interested in joining this trip, there are a few requirements that must be met. Apply for more information:
