Discover the Joy of Fly Fishing with Another Summit

Ever been captivated by the idea of casting a line into a pristine river, honing your skill, and reeling in a fish?

Whether you're brand new to fly fishing or looking to refine your technique, Another Summit invites you to join a year-long journey into the world of fly fishing, alongside fellow guardians.

This cohort-style course is designed for anglers of all levels, making it the perfect opportunity to either start or deepen your journey as an angler. Over 12 months (via one in-person session per month) plus an exciting camping trip in August, you’ll learn everything you need to become a confident, knowledgeable angler and enjoy the outdoors in a new way.

First: What is Fly Fishing?

Fly fishing is the sport of catching fish, usually trout, with a light action gear (rod & reel), weighted line, and an artificial fly. It's recognizably by the rhythmic art of casting, making it an incredibly engaging way to fish that many anglers find to mirror hunting more closely than conventional fishing (which is more passive).

In addition to being a fun & active way to fish, it is also very meditative, pulling your mind away from the day to day as you concentrate on the rhythm of your cast and the flow of the water.

Announcing Our 2025 Fly Fishing Cohort

If the idea of learning this art form resonates with you, our 2025 Fly Fishing Cohort is here to support you every step of the way.

Our 12-month program (held in Beacon, NY) meets once a month for hands-on sessions and culminates in an August fish camp adventure — a true highlight.
