Training: Assisting Individuals in Crisis (AIC)

Learn the skills to recognize and assist someone who may be experiencing a mental health crisis.

Crisis intervention is NOT psychotherapy — it’s “emotional first aid”. It is a specialized acute emergency mental health intervention which requires specialized training. As physical first aid is to surgery, crisis intervention is to psychotherapy.

This interactive course is designed to teach you the fundamentals of, and a specific protocol for, individual crisis intervention. Designated to increase knowledge of one-on-one crisis intervention techniques.

Upon completion, you will receive a certificate for Assisting Individuals in Crisis from International Critical Incident Stress Foundation.

Guardian Revival organizes training sessions for our team — and we’re opening this one up to the broader first responders and military! Spots are limited, so reserve your spot today.
