Training: Mental Health First Aid
Learn the skills to recognize and assist someone who may be experiencing a mental health crisis.
This session is not just informative — it’s practical. You’ll leave with a better understanding of mental health, strategies to assist in a crisis, and tools to foster wellness for yourself and others.
This interactive course will teach you how to identify signs of mental health challenges, approach someone in need, and connect them with appropriate resources. This training empowers you to be a source of help & hope and is valuable for anyone working in mental health and suicide prevention.
Upon completion, you will receive a certificate for Mental Health First Aid from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing.

About Your Instructor
Brian Flynn, LCSW, is the Training and Education Specialist at Guardian Revival. He is a clinical social worker with nearly 25 years of teaching and clinical experience working with law enforcement and other first responders. He is a university lecturer and holds a certification in critical incident stress management.
