St. Regis Canoe Adventure

Join us on a 3-day, 2-night paddling adventure in the St. Regis Canoe Area in the Adirondacks. This is a beginner-friendly, educational outing and relaxed, slow-paced adventure.

The St. Regis Canoe area is the largest canoe area in the Northeastern US and home to 50 ponds and lakes.

Explore and admire the awe inspiring beauty of the Adirondacks over the course of the 3 days, with a route and schedule that you will get to help design.

You will have the opportunity to learn about canoe-camping, campfire cooking, and navigation as you and fellow guardians carve your way through this beautiful, remote wilderness.

    • You’re welcome to camp out with us the night of Thur, Sept 7

    • The official adventure begins Fri, Sept 8 @ 9 AM

  • DIFFICULTY: 🟩 Green (moderate)

    • Green hikes are great for beginners, and folks looking to spend a couple hours outside. These are usually between 2-4 miles and can range from short mountain hikes to long relatively flat hikes. Either way, these will be at a slow and steady pace, with time to stop and appreciate nature.

    • Participants will have to carry all of their gear and may have to portage (hike) with up to 50 lbs of weight.

  • DISTANCE: There are a few different options for routes on this outing, and participants will decide as a group which one we’ll take

  • DURATION: 3 days

Another Summit

Another Summit organizes and leads outdoor adventure activities — such as walking, hiking, backpacking, and paddling — in the Hudson Valley Region of New York.

Another Summit’s outdoor adventures range from beginner to advanced difficulty levels and are led by certified outdoor leaders.

We welcome guardians of all ages and ability levels, including those with accessibility needs, and we work to facilitate access throughout the Hudson Valley and NYC area. Another Summit’s difficulty rating system considers multiple factors, including elevation, terrain, and frequency of rests.

  • 🟪 Purple (easiest) ♿

  • 🟦 Blue (easy)

  • 🟩 Green (moderate)

  • 🟨 Yellow (moderately strenuous)

  • 🟥 Red (strenuous)

  • ⬛ Black (very strenuous)
