Popolopen Torne
Join our Outdoor Leader Craig on a hike to the peak of the Popolopen Torne just outside of West Point, NY.
This will be a long hike from Fort Montgomery to the Torne, a place that has gained great significance through the living monument located at its peak that’s dedicated to fallen soldiers.
Covering 4.95 miles, this trail is mostly flat until you reach the Torne, which is quite steep in some parts and requires climbing on short sections of rope.
For those unable to attend our Veterans Day weekend hikes on November 10 & 11, this is an alternative option.
