Dennings Point River Walk
Join our Outdoor Leader Dawn in a peaceful nature walk along the bank of the Hudson River from Long Dock Park to Dennings Point.
Beginning at Long Dock Park, one of Beacon’s most popular riverside public parks, you'll walk along the Klara-Sauer trail towards Denning’s Point, a historic and unique peninsula on the Hudson that is home to the Beacon Institute for Rivers and Estuaries, and educational center run by Clarkson University. Once at Dennings Point, you’ll have an opportunity to stop and explore the beaches and viewpoints and admire the serene beauty of the river.
