Overlook Mountain Snowshoe

Join our outdoor leaders Bill & Todd on a snowshoeing adventure to the viewpoint on Overlook Mountain in the Catskills.

This 4.41 mile out-and-back snowshoe hike will have you climbing 1,375ft of elevation on a wide carriage path to a breath taking cliffside view of the Hudson River Valley, and one of the Catskill fire towers, which will provide an amazing 360 degree view of the area. On the way you can also stop to explore the ruins of the Overlook Mountain House, a hotel that burned down in the late 1800s.
