Women Guardians Backpacking Adventure
Join your fellow women guardians on a rejuvenating and educational two-day, one-night backpacking adventure in Harriman State Park.
Designed by women guardians, for women guardians, our outdoor leaders Elena and Lauren will guide you on a beginner-friendly two-day backpacking trip where you'll learn the essentials of backpacking alongside a group of your peers. On this outing, you'll learn:

Backcountry cooking
Basic navigation

Another Summit is able to provide gear to participants who need it. This outing includes a required pre-outing meeting taking place on Friday, June 6th that will cover the trip itinerary, route, packing list, and introductions.

Yellow adventures are great for people who are looking to spend several hours on the trail. Some backpacking and paddling adventures can fall into this category.

DURATION: 2 days

Another Summit
Another Summit organizes and leads outdoor adventure activities β such as walking, hiking, backpacking, and paddling β in the Hudson Valley Region of New York & across the Northeast.
We welcome guardians of all ages and ability levels, including those with accessibility needs, and we work to facilitate access throughout the Hudson Valley and NYC area.
Our outdoor adventures range from beginner to advanced difficulty levels and are led by certified outdoor leaders. Another Summitβs difficulty rating system considers multiple factors, including elevation, terrain, and frequency of rests.
