Transit to Trails | Bull Hill

Join our outdoor leaders for the next installment in our Transit to Trails Series. This month, we'll be doing one of our favorite transit-accessible hikes -- the Bull Hill Loop!

On this 7.3-mile loop hike we'll enjoy sweeping views of the Hudson River and Storm King Mountain as we hike our way through Hudson Highlands State Park Preserve. At the top of Bull Hill you can even see NYC on a clear day. Enjoy this beautiful park and the changing colors of fall along with your fellow Guardians.

This Transit to Trails hike is accessible from NYC via the Metro North Hudson Line. Simply hop on the 8:50am Poughkeepsie-bound train from Grand Central station and get off at the Cold Spring station. Trains return to NYC from Cold Spring every hour on the 20-minute mark.
