Mindfulness Walk | Pelton Pond
Join outdoor leaders Leslie and Lauren on a peaceful 1-mile mindfulness walk through the scenic woods of Pelton Pond in Fahnestock State Park.
As we take a nice easy walk around the pond, we will quietly allow our senses to connect with our surroundings, helping us to access the restorative benefits of being in nature.
Our walk will end at the pavilion, where we will warm up with a campfire and hot cocoa, and a mindful practice of releasing something into the fire which we either hope for or want to let go of.
Microspikes and trekking poles will be provided if the terrain is snowy or icy.
